10 SUPPORTS

The 10 Items of the SSW Support Plan

Companies that accept foreign workers under the Specified Skilled Worker system are required to implement a “support plan” covering work and daily life. Econoha Sky takes on all 10 items for you.

  1. 01

    Pre-arrival Guidance

After the employment contract is signed and before the residence status application, we explain working conditions, job duties, entry procedures, whether any deposits are collected and more, in person or by video call.

  2. 02

Airport Transfers on Entry and Departure

We provide transport from the airport to the workplace or residence on arrival, and to the airport security checkpoint on departure.

  3. 03

    Housing and Essential Contract Support

We help secure housing by acting as joint guarantor or emergency contact and arranging company housing. We also support essential contracts such as mobile phones, utilities and bank accounts.

  4. 04

    Life Orientation

We spend at least eight hours explaining Japanese rules and manners, how to use public services, what to do in a disaster, and more, in a language the worker fully understands.

  5. 05

    Accompaniment to Official Procedures

As needed, we accompany workers to procedures for residence registration, social security, taxes and more, and help prepare documents. This even includes My Number procedures and bicycle anti-theft registration.

  6. 06

    Japanese Language Learning Opportunities

We support Japanese language learning by providing information on Japanese classes, online courses and learning materials, and help with enrollment procedures as needed.

  7. 07

    Handling Consultations and Complaints

We respond to consultations and complaints about work and daily life in a language the worker fully understands, and provide necessary advice and guidance according to the content.

  8. 08

    Promoting Interaction with Japanese People

We provide information on opportunities to interact with local residents, such as neighborhood associations, and on local events such as festivals, and help workers take part.

  9. 09

Job Change Support (in Cases of Workforce Reduction, etc.)

If the employment contract is terminated for reasons on the host company’s side, we help find a new employer, prepare letters of recommendation, arrange paid leave for job hunting, and provide information on administrative procedures.

  10. 10

Regular Meetings and Reporting to Authorities

Our support manager and staff meet regularly (at least once every three months) with the worker and their supervisor, and promptly report any legal violations discovered.

Cases Where You Must Use a Registered Support Organization

  • You have not employed foreign workers within the past two years
  • None of your officers or employees has handled daily-life consultations for foreign workers within the past two years

In such cases, entrusting support to a Registered Support Organization with specialized knowledge and experience is essential. We have an extensive track record, particularly in the building maintenance field.
